What to Expect with your Visit with us!

We want to do what is best for you and your pets and make your visits as easy and simple as possible! Here's what to expect when it comes to making sure we can do that.

Scheduling an Appointment

All new clients will be required to pay a $50.00 deposit when making an appointment. If you are a no show, or miss your appointment for any reason this deposit will not be refunded. In order to schedule an appointment, you will either need to call the front office and talk to a CSR directly or go through your Petly page and request an appointment online. All appointments with a doctor start at 20 minute intervals, with some lasting longer depending on what is needed. Any sick/diagnostic appointments, initial puppy exams, and wellness exams for senior pets will be scheduled with a doctor. Most yearly exams and vaccination appointments are also scheduled with doctors, but can be scheduled with a technician if needed. Please keep this in mind when scheduling. When you call in, tell the CSR your name, your pet's name, why they need to come in, and any day/time/doctor preference you may have. They will work with you in order to get everything set up that works for your schedule as well as ours.

Before Arriving for your Appointment

Once you have an appointment scheduled, you will either get an email reminder a few days before or a phone call reminder the day before. You can verify appointment date and time either online with the email or over the phone. Please make sure you have any and all paperwork you need to bring if you have been asked to and follow any instructions given to you by a doctor, tech, assistant, or CSR before appointment. This includes instructions on fasting, giving medications at a certain time, or collecting samples at home among other things.

Checking In

We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. When you arrive for your appointment, please come in to check in, but leave your pet in the car. We have found this greatly reduces, the noise, and general stress level of our patients.

Checking Out

Currently we are getting clients checked out in the exam rooms. The assistant will give you a total and take payment out to the CSRs in the front office. After check out, either the assistant or the CSR will come back into the room, go over any medication instructions if needed, and answer any last questions you have. Payment is due at time of service. We accept all major cards as well as cash, checks, and Care Credit.
